Although the house is very pretty and comfortable inside, it is probably outside that you will make the most of it!

The house faces south with a large terrace to enjoy the peace and tranquility of this exceptional site.
From the early mornings (you are above the mist!) to the sunshine, you can spend all day just enjoying the spectacular views!
The terrace is equipped with table and chairs and a covered summer kitchen with sink and charcoal bbq for you to enjoy cooking al fresco, and dining under the stars.

Last, but not least!, the 6mx3m fully private pool is "the cherry on the cake" of this amazing property. It is equipped with loungers, outside shower, and enjoys the same panoramic views over the valley of the 5 castles.

And for the comfort of our guests you can park 80m from the house on a private car park for residents only (small fee parking card to collect to the Town Hall on arrival day)

Fantastic. Don’t hesitate to book. Wonderful location and you have the best view of the whole valley. Perfectly situated for restaurants and activities. Plenty of great places to visit and I would happily stay again
Wow, what a view! The best in the valley by our reckoning. We spent most of our time sat on the terrace gazing out at the incredible view of the valley and 5 Château, canoes and hot air balloons. The location is perfect, such a beautiful part of the Dordogne, next door to a Château in one of the most beautiful medieval villages in France, walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and the river. You do need to be prepared for an extremely steep hill though, so flat shoes only! Beynac is very close to other pretty towns and villages too. The property itself is lovely and well stocked with all the amenities to self cater. We had a bbq most evenings, as the outdoor kitchen is great. The set up would suit a family or group of friends with 3 bedrooms and a few separate living spaces so you needn’t be crowded. The pool was a decent size and well kept, and great to cool off in. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat though as it truly is a magical place.
Stunning location with incredible views and a perfect base from which to enjoy the Dordogne valley. Car parking is very convenient to the house which has lots of character, located down a cobbled entrance. There is a boulangerie located near the end of the village, an 8 minute walk from the house along with a charcuterie and a corner shop. In the town itself there is no shortage of places to dine or drink. Local attractions are literally steps away from the house. Within twenty minutes drive are the towns of St.Cyprien, Sarlat, Domme and La Roque Gagneac to name but a few. Loads to discover and a stunning, characterful property to come home to after a day of exploring. Thanks for a memorable trip to a France!”
This property looked amazing in the description and photos but is even better than that. The garden is totally private and not overlooked (8 foot garden walls and a large drop the other side). It also has a south facing terrace with pool on the upper terrace and a summer kitchen/large dining terrace at the lower level (with a 500 foot drop down to the village), The house consists of 3 'wings' (Main Hall/Sitting, Kitchen/Diner, Bedrooms and Bathroom). It also has an enclosed courtyard out the front with washroom etc. The property itself is probably medieval and is full of character. It is very tastefully decorated and has everything you need in terms of kitchen equipment, dishwasher etc. Most mornings and some evenings, Hot Air Balloons flew overhead. The views are stunning. It is also an excellent base for exploring the Dordogne. The Petit Tonelle restaurant in the village is very good also. I would highly recommend this house.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agreable chez vous. The house and especially the view from both terraces is absolutely stunning. Ce fut un honneur de passer quelque temps ici. Merci beaucoup Gary & Judy H
Thankyou so much for allowing us to rent your beautiful home. Everyday the view is a delight - no one could ever tire of it, and surely it is one of the best views of the region. We really appreciate the effort put in to the beautiful decor and the various comforts. Rachel, Grant, Jack and Owen.
Stunning house and terrace, the views are amazing, be sure to get up early to watch the hot air balloons as they narrowly miss trees, castles, the river etc!! Thankyou for a wonderful property, The CB's
We have spent a very happy week in the beautiful surroundings of Les Hauts de Beynac. Nous sommes très reconnaissants, Annemarie and David LJ
A beautiful house and the most amazing view - could happily spend another week just looking out over the scenery. We have enjoyed canoeing, cycling, Domme , Castelnaud and Thursday evening at Chateau de Marqueyssac to see the gardens lit up by 1000 candles - beautiful! But best of all we enjoyed swimming and relaxing here! The R family
