A beautiful village house, for 2 to 4 people, recently renovated, in the heart of the medieval village of Domme, voted one of the most beautiful villages in France.
Situated in the heart of the pretty bastide village of Domme, Pontcarral is ideal for 2 to 4 people. The shops, bars and restaurants are right on the doorstep - imagine the short walk in the morning for the fresh bread and croissants, and in the evening to savour the local gastronomic meals!
The house has been recently renovated and offers quality furniture and equipment, all brand new.
Set on three floors, the house comprises:
On the ground floor

- The front door opens onto the dining kitchen with its exposed beams and stone walls. It is totally equipped with refrigerator, cooker, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and microwave.
- A high dining table and chairs provide comfort for your leisurely meals!
- a sitting area offers a comfortable corner sofa and there is flat screen TV and coffee table

The first floor

- A double bedroom with a double bed (140cm wide), walk in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps.
- an en suite shower room with a shower, vanity unit, heated towel rail and washing machine.
- A separate toilet and washbasin completes this floor.
The second floor:

- A large bedroom nestled under the eaves with exposed beams and stone walls offers a large double bed (160cm), wooden floor, a chest if drawers and hanging rail
- a walk in shower, vanity unit and heated towel rail
- A separate toilet
Efficient electric heating and double glazing ensure comfort in cooler seasons, and in summer the thick stone walls keep the house cool.

 | this house in Domme is a great location, one minute walk from the most amazing view of the Dordogne river, and seconds from the heart of the village. perfect location for those that like to park their car after being out and about and walk the shops, restaurants, cafe's and buy an ice cream. house is lovely, everything you need, great instructions, really clean, two good comfortable bedrooms and well appointed bathrooms. lovely clean kitchen that's easy to cook in. Melanie and Sabine were great hosts, even got a shopping order in for us. I needed a medical appointment when I was there and Melanie made this for me as I don't speak French well enough. she went above and beyond usual host duties for me and I so appreciated it. highly recommend this property |
