EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION:
*********************
Despite the comfort and the character of the interior of the property, it is without doubt that you will appreciate the exterior spaces where you can spend lazy afternoons soaking up the sun and enjoying the views.
* The private garden is accessible through a doorway on the opposite side of the street: here you will find the fantastic, huge private pool with views over the rooftops and countryside beyond. The pool itself measures 16m x 8m, open from mid June to mid September, and although nestled in the heart of Domme, the only windows overlooking the pool and terrace areas are the bedrooms of Maison Molènes itself! The pool is surrounded by a lawned area and roses, and offers sun loungers and parasols.
* Hidden behind the house, and accessible via the dining room is a wonderful inner courtyard, completely private. Here you can enjoy idyllic breakfasts on the wrought iron table and chairs, surrounded by flowers and the honey coloured stone walls of the property.

Magnifique maison très bien équipée, hôte très réactive. Très bon séjour à Domme!
Comfortable elegance in Domme
We had a 5-night family reunion for 8 people in this beautiful property! Check-in with Melanie was a breeze and she was very responsive throughout our stay. The property, garden and pool were all beautiful and the location in charming Domme served as a perfect jumping off point for all the area has to offer. Highly recommend staying here!
What an extraordinary house! We could not have asked for a better place to stay in the Dordogne. The house is beautifully furnished with layers of history and accommodated our multi-generational group perfectly. It was such a joy to cook and dine together and enough rooms for everyone to have their own space. The swimming pool was an added bonus and wonderful to enjoy as well. A great location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. This hone is really special.
Beautiful family home from home

My family and I had the privilege of staying in this house for just over a week. We loved the fact that we were in the centre of a village but felt miles away from everything. For such an old building the facilities were excellent and in perfect working order. Our kids loved sitting in at antique tables to eat under a chandelier. Felt like we were borrowing a fiend’s House for the summer. Beds perfectly comfortable. Can get hot upstairs as no air con but house has incredibly thick stone walls so remains cool elsewhere throughout summer. Agency was really responsive and helpful at all times. Thanks for a great stay!
This is a great house, perfectly located in Domme for local restaurants and easy access to the sites along the Dordogne and Vezere rivers. The house is full of character and has a grand, yet homely and welcoming feel. We loved the comfortable public rooms which have great views. We used four of the five good sized bedrooms and everyone had lots of space. We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks in the courtyard and outdoor pool area, both of which are very private. We were there early in the season and had not pre-booked heating so it was cold, but Melanie sorted this out for us very quickly. On-street parking might not be easy in high season as Domme will be busy. All in all we loved our stay at Maison Molene and would be happy to book again
