Traditional tobacco barn, newly converted into a spacious holiday home for up to 14 guests. Set in the Golden Triangle of The Black Perigord, it offers an ideal base for large groups or family to holiday together and explore the area.

This spacious tobacco barn, tastefully converted into a very large holiday home, is to be found in the Golden triangle of the Black Perigord, right in the center of the castles of Castelnaud, Beynac, Marquessac, Fayrac and Lacoste, only 4 miles from Sarlat.

Back from your daily visits, you will appreciate its private pool, small but very convenient, flat garden and views over the medieval castles and rolling countryside.

In mid season, the efficient electric central heating make it ideal for the spring and autumn evenings.


INDOOR DESCRIPTION:

Organised on two levels, with a surface area of more than 250m², the house offers :
At ground floor :
* an enormous living room with
- a comfortable seating area, equipped with sofas, armchairs, coffee table, flat screen TV.
* a dining area with a large wooden table and chairs
* an open plan kitchen, fully equipped (fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher...) and with a breakfast table
The lounge leads out to a large covered terrace allowing you to dine al fresco
* on the opposite side of the entrance hall is a bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, and desk.
* adjacent is a newly built tiled bathroom with a bathtub, washbasin and toilet.
* a separate toilet is available on the ground floor
* a small corridor leads to a large utility room with a washer, dryer, another fridge.
* through this area you can access another shower room with a shower unit, washbasin and toilet.
* last - but not least!- is the sauna room for up to 7 adults. An ideal place to relax before jumping into the pool!

The other bedrooms are all set on the 1st floor:
* The Master bedroom (30m²) has a double bed (140cm), large built in wardrobe, chest with drawers, and beautiful views over 4 castles! There is an extra 120cm large to sleep a child.
* The Grey bedroom is also very large (20m²). It also has as a king size bed, and a large wooden wardrobe.
* The smaller Purple bedroom (9m²) has a double bed and a chest with drawers
* A shower room with shower unit, washbasin and toilet is available on the 1st floor.
* For larger groups, a children's dormitory (45m²) offering up to 7 extra beds. It is ideal for the children to sleep and play all together is the same very large bedroom :
- two double beds
- three single beds

OUTDOOR DESCRIPTION:

* The covered terrace is equipped with a table and chairs to dine outside. There is another smaller table to seat the children.
* The pool, set above the ground, is 3,5mx5m, and 1,10m deep. It enjoys the sun all day long. It is equipped with loungers and parasols.
* The flat garden of 2100m² has grassy areas ideal for the children to play ball, and a gravel surface very acceptable to play petanque and have good fun till late in the evenings!
* splendid view over the countryside, hills and surrounding castles.
* There are large spaces at the front of the house to park up to 6 cars
