Mas Cavaille was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay for our group of 6 women. Each of us had our own room. The decor is a combination of traditional french country side with updated kitchens and baths. Both of the houses were spacious, airy and comfortable. The perfectly heated pool between the homes was a welcome relief at the end of the day. There were so many places to sit, dine, read and relax that is was hard to choose! We tried everything and only wished we had more time to take advantage of staying at this beautiful property. Sabine and Melanie provided great communication before the trip. Offered pre-trip shopping service so that we had supplies on arrival and made a good hand-out for finding the maison and getting into the house. The maison is walking distance 15-20 min to Sarlat center, but is all uphill on the way home so may be difficult for some and a workout with a lot of groceries. However, there is a carpark at the base of the hill to make it easier.
