Ideal for those who want a launch pad in the midst of old Sarlat, but tucked away on a quiet street. This is a 15th century house, true to the region in its feel and decor. If you enjoy staying in a place rooted in another era, but with modern bathrooms, this is the property to consider. Sabine managed the stay and couldn't have been more helpful. I stayed for a month and welcomed new friends and family every week. Sabine and her team kept us stocked with fresh linen. She also provided extras as needed, such as contact information for a private chef. The location may be the best in Sarlat. It's around the corner from the covered market, making it easy to slip out in the morning for fresh croissants, yogurt and more for the house. There's a pod coffee machine and also a French press (and a fresh coffee bean store nearby). These are the type of thoughtful extras that help make a good holiday. Thank you for a memorable time in one of the most beautiful parts of France.
