We spent a lovely week at La Villa Verdier in July 2022. The house is cosily furnished and very well equipped, with excellent kitchen, beds and two nice bathrooms. The air-conditioning, swimming pool and many shady spots on the estate provided much-needed cooling in the heatwave. The house is very quietly located on a dead-end lane, you walk straight into the forest. Les Eyzies is a few minutes away by car and is a nice town with a good bakery, tasty restaurants and a beautiful museum on prehistory. For culture lovers, the area offers many interesting things, from castles to museums and lots of prehistoric caves. On rainy, or very hot days, Lascaux IV is a must. We would love to come back again, if only to watch the impressive starry sky! Rinus and Evelien
