A WONDERFUL HOUSE IN A BEAUTIFVUL VILLAGE My partner and I have stayed in many parts of France - usually self catering for the main part of our holiday. Some have been great, some less so but none have been as nice as Poche. We loved it - despite the worst weather we\'ve ever known on holiday. Usually this would cloud (if you will excuse the pun) our judgement - but because the setting was so lovely and the house well equipped, cosy and comfortable - we actually had a great time. To date - we\'ve never revisited an accommodation, but I suspect Poche will prove to be the exception to the rule. The location is brilliant for both the Dorgogne and the Lot and the situation of the house itself in Daglan couldn\'t be better - 2 minutes walk from the market square, minimarket, fabulous restaurant (Le Petit Paris) and the less glamourous but necessary recycle point! Our local contact - Melenie - was helpful and accommodating, and although we didn\'t take up the offer - the suggestion of shopping in advance for you was a nice touch. Location ? 10/10, House? 10/10? Weather..in the words of Meatloaf - 2 out of 3 aint bad.\"
